Adebutu Engages Ogun Traditionalists for 2027 Support

Ladi Adebutu, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, sought the prayers and support of traditionalists and elders in Egbaland on Tuesday, during his visit to the Oloje traditionalist community in Abeokuta. Adebutu assured the traditionalists that his administration would promote accountability, peace, and prudent management of public resources if elected in the 2027 governorship election.

He emphasized the importance of grassroots development and pledged that funds allocated to local governments would be released for effective administration and rural development. Adebutu, identifying as a devoted Christian, acknowledged the significant role of traditional institutions in fostering societal harmony.

Toyin Amuzu, the PDP House of Representatives candidate, urged residents to vote for the PDP, citing the party's commitment to Abeokuta's development. High Chief Mustapha Adulakeem Owolabi encouraged the community to support Adebutu, advocating for a political movement that prioritizes Egbaland's interests ahead of the upcoming election.
