Adebutu Welcomes APC, ADC Defectors to PDP in Ogun

On Tuesday, at the People's Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Abeokuta, Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate for Ogun State in 2027, received defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Adebutu called on the new members to complete their registration and mobilize others ahead of future elections.

High Chief Mustapha Abdulakeem Owolabi, chairman of the Egba Agenda Forum, brought 4,500 defectors from the APC and ADC, expressing confidence that the PDP would gain significant electoral strength in Ogun Central.
