Ogun West Indigenes Endorse Adebutu for Governor

On Wednesday, Ogun West indigenes endorsed Oladipupo Adebutu's governorship bid during a significant event at the Teted Hall in Ilaro. Thousands of Yewa indigenes, including local leaders and members of the PDP, gathered to show their support.

Akinbami Lukman, a chief from the Imeko Afon local government, spoke on behalf of the group, affirming their commitment to Adebutu's candidacy and the PDP. Jimoh Azeez, a youth leader, assured that they would mobilize votes to ensure Adebutu's success in the 2027 elections.

Adebutu expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating it reflects the love of the true indigenes of Yewa land. He emphasized the importance of protecting the heritage of the state and ensuring that its resources benefit the people.

The event highlighted a collective determination among the indigenes to support Adebutu against his political opponents, including Gboyega Isiaka Abiodun.
