Ogun West Indigenes Endorse Adebutu for Governor

On Wednesday, thousands of Yewa indigenes from Ogun West Senatorial District endorsed Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate for Ogun State. The event occurred at the Teted Hall in Ilaro, where local leaders, including Chief Akinbami Lukman, declared their preference for Adebutu.

They emphasized their commitment to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and assured Adebutu of their support in mobilizing votes for the 2027 elections. Jimoh Azeez, a youth leader, highlighted the importance of ensuring every vote counts and protecting the interests of the Yewa people.

Adebutu expressed gratitude for the support, acknowledging the need for unity among the indigenes. Gboyega Isiaka Abiodun Akinlad, a candidate from another political party, was mentioned as a competitor.

The gathering underscored the determination of the Yewa indigenes to advocate for their heritage and democratic rights in the upcoming elections.
