Omole Declares Candidacy for Ondo Assembly in 2027

Omole, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former special adviser on transport to the Ondo State governor, announced his candidacy for the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing the Akoko South West constituency in the 2027 general elections. His declaration took place on Sunday, April 5, during an empowerment program in Oka Akoko, where he unveiled a ₦20 million community development support fund aimed at benefiting youth, students, artisans, market women, and farmers.

Omole emphasized his commitment to prioritizing youth empowerment and infrastructural development, promising to push for the creation of local councils to enhance development in the constituency. He commended the Ondo State government for improving the release of constituency funds and noted his previous achievements during his tenure as a lawmaker from 2019 to 2023, which included facilitating employment opportunities and supporting grassroots sports development.

Omole received royal blessings from local monarchs and was endorsed by APC leaders in the state.
