APC Chieftain Agbazuer Backs Otti, Joins Labour Party

Professor Anthoni Agbazuer, who served as the chairman of the strategic committee for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has resigned from his position to support the re-election of Governor Alex Otti. During a visit to Governor Otti's residence in Isiala Ngwa South LGA on Wednesday, Agbazuer expressed his decision to switch allegiance to the Labour Party (LP).

He stated that he was convinced by Otti's performance as governor, which led him to abandon the APC. The strategic committee, which was set to design a blueprint for the APC's total victory in Abia State, was inaugurated by Orji Uzor Kalu on behalf of two former governors, Theodor Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu.

Governor Otti assured new LP members that they would not face discrimination compared to older party members, emphasizing his administration's commitment to intensifying development in the state.
