APC Clears Jamil Gwamna for Gombe Governorship Race

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared Jamil Gwamna to contest in the upcoming Gombe State governorship election. Gwamna was selected as the consensus candidate after satisfactorily fulfilling the constitutional requirements necessary for participation in the party's governorship process.

The screening committee, headed by Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoy, conducted the process in Abuja.

Gwamna expressed appreciation for the APC leadership's transparent and credible exercise, which he believes strengthens internal democracy and ensures quality leadership within the party. He commended the performance of the current governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and emphasized the importance of collective effort and mutual respect among party members to achieve progress.

Gwamna reaffirmed his determination to build on the development strides recorded under Yahaya's leadership and to energize the party's support base in Gombe State.
