APC's Kumo Backs Gwamna for Gombe Governorship Bid

Hamma Adama Ali Kumo, the Deputy Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), issued a statement in Abuja congratulating Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna on his emergence as the party's consensus governorship candidate for Gombe State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Kumo described Gwamna as a visionary leader and accomplished technocrat with grassroots mobilization skills that will strengthen the APC's position in Gombe. He noted that the consensus arrangement reflects the party's commitment to unity and is a step toward consolidating APC's achievements in the state.

Kumo called on other aspirants for the governorship ticket to rally behind Gwamna, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts for the party's success. He also commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his exemplary leadership, which has brought peace and infrastructural development to Gombe State.

Kumo reaffirmed support for Yahaya's senatorial aspirations, expressing confidence that his experience will enhance representation in the National Assembly.
