APC Extends Nomination Form Deadlines for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced an extension of the sales and submission deadlines for nomination forms for the 2027 general elections. This decision was made during a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) held on Thursday in Abuja.

Durosinmi Meseko, the party's Deputy National Public Secretary, confirmed that the sale of forms will now close at midnight on May 4, 2026, while the submission of completed forms, along with accompanying documents, has been extended to midnight on May 5, 2026. The previous schedule had the sale of forms running from April 25 to May 2, 2026, with the last day for submission originally set for May 4, 2026.

The extension was deemed necessary due to a nationwide public holiday observed on Friday and to accommodate the high level of interest from aspirants.
