APC Schedules 2026 Presidential Primary for May 15-16

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the dates for its presidential and governorship primaries in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The presidential primary is set for May 15 and 16, 2026, while the governorship primary will take place on May 25, 2026.

The party will commence the sale of nomination forms on April 25, 2026, with the presidential nomination form priced at N100 million and the governorship form at N50 million. Sulaiman Argungu, the APC's national organizing secretary, issued a notice detailing the schedule.

The last day for submission of completed forms is May 4, 2026, followed by public screening of aspirants from May 6 to 8. Results will be announced on May 9, with the primary elections for the House of Representatives scheduled for May 18 and the Senate for May 20, 2026.

The APC has assured its members and stakeholders of a credible and transparent primary election process.
