APC's Yari Affirms Northern Support for Tinubu in 2027

Abdulaziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, commended APC governors for their mobilization efforts in preparation for the 2027 general election. Speaking at the APC presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna, Yari expressed confidence in the party's ability to secure victory, stating that the campaign council would collaborate closely with the governors.

He assured President Bola Tinubu of unwavering support from northern Nigeria, declaring, "Northern Nigeria is 100% yours, insha Allah." Yari outlined the campaign's strategy to engage traditional rulers and influential stakeholders to garner support for Tinubu, focusing on the administration's achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social welfare. He dismissed claims that the Tinubu administration neglected farmers, asserting that around two million farmers pledged support for the president.

Yari also claimed improvements in Nigeria's economy, citing the naira's exchange rate and increases in foreign reserves as indicators of progress under Tinubu's leadership.
