APC's Tijjani Galadima Launches 2027 Campaign in Adamawa

Tijjani Galadima, the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), officially inaugurated his 2027 election campaign in Adamawa following the lifting of the ban on political campaigns for governorship and state assembly elections. At a news conference, he presented his "Adamawa Rising Agenda," which focuses on reducing the state's reliance on federal allocations by transforming agriculture into industrial value chains and attracting investments in solid minerals.

Galadima emphasized the importance of creating an environment conducive to the growth of farmers, entrepreneurs, and businesses, stating, "We will not tax poverty, we will grow prosperity." His blueprint includes establishing agro-industrial hubs across the three senatorial zones, with facilities for processing, storage, and logistics to enhance the value of agricultural products. He also pledged to attract responsible investments in minerals while formalizing artisanal mining.

Galadima committed to transparent governance through a Governor’s Delivery Unit and promised to build on existing projects and reforms from previous administrations.
