Haske Becomes APM Candidate for Adamawa Governorship

Abdulrahman Haske has officially left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to become the governorship candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 Adamawa State election. His candidacy was announced on Saturday in Yola, following his loss in the APC primary to Ahmed Galadima, who received 414,444 votes, while Haske placed third with 65,424 votes.

Haske cited his desire for a people-centred development agenda as the reason for his departure from the APC. He emphasized a commitment to accountable leadership, economic empowerment, youth participation, and sustainable development.

Haske pledged that, if elected, his administration would prioritize agriculture, infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and security. He expressed gratitude to the APM's national leadership for the opportunity to contest and assured supporters of his dedication to transparent governance.

The APM's National Chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, stated that Haske's political outlook aligns with the party's principles.
