APGA and Soludo Back Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Race

On Thursday, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Soludo expressed their support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid for a second term in office in the 2027 presidential elections. Chief Ojukwu Obakasi, the party's South East zone secretary, made this declaration shortly after the inauguration of the leadership of the Citi Boi Movement in Umuez Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area.

It was noted that APGA will not present a presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. The party's National Executive Committee (NEC) met and adopted Tinubu as their preferred presidential candidate, emphasizing the need for the South East region to act cohesively and not waste votes.

The Citi Boi Movement, which includes members from various political parties across the South East, aims to support Tinubu's candidacy and work together to ensure his success.
