‘Peter Obi Used Dangerous Rhetoric To Deceive The Church’ – Tinubu’s Aide

During an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, a spokesperson for Bola Tinubu accused Peter Obi of using dangerous rhetoric to deceive the church. The aide claimed that Obi had polled votes to finish second behind Tinubu in the 2023 election but would ultimately lose the ticket race and might not even emerge as a running mate.

Despite Obi having three options in the PDP, LP, and ADC, the aide insisted that he would not secure the ticket. The aide also alleged that Obi had already lost half of his support base for the 2023 election due to divisive rhetoric.

The aide argued that the region's governors supporting Tinubu indicated that Obi would not find fertile ground for his campaign.
