APC Leaders Warn Tinubu on Wadada's Actions in Nasarawa

Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have called on President Bola Tinubu to take action against Ahm Wadada, warning that his failure to do so could result in the party losing the 2027 gubernatorial elections in Nasarawa State. The statement, signed by Emmanuel Zachari and Ahm Umar, accuses Wadada of employing tactics of blackmail and intimidation against fellow aspirants, which they claim could deepen divisions within the party and undermine internal democracy.

They emphasized that every citizen has the constitutional right to pursue their ambitions without fear of intimidation. The chieftains warned that resorting to undemocratic means could breed resentment and weaken the party's chances in the upcoming elections.

Additionally, they noted that the current governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has expressed interest in contesting for a senatorial seat in the next electoral cycle.
