APC Group Warns Nasarawa Aspirant Against Name-Dropping

The Nasarawa APC Integr Forum issued a statement cautioning governorship aspirant Ahm Wadada against name-dropping President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his close associate, Gilbert Chagouri. The statement, released on Wednesday by members Zamani Daniel and Ibrahim Tukur, criticized Wadada for boasting about his purported closeness to President Tinubu, suggesting that such tactics intimidate other aspirants and undermine democracy.

The forum emphasized that political aspirants should seek the mandate of the people rather than rely on alleged influence. They argued that every citizen has the constitutional right to pursue political aspirations without fear of intimidation.

The group condemned the use of undemocratic tactics to scare away fellow aspirants and called for a fair primary process where party members can choose the best candidates based on merit.
