Oyeyemi Declares Candidacy for House of Reps in Kwara

Florence Olasumbo Oyeyemi, a former commissioner for finance in Kwara State under Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has officially declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Ok Ero constituency. During a ceremony in Omu Aran, she promised quality representation and a commitment to strengthening women's representation across various programs.

Oyeyemi, who is affiliated with the Kwara Progress Congress (APC), emphasized the importance of inclusivity and development in her campaign. She was supported at the event by notable figures, including Ogun State's Director of Contact Mobilization for the City Boy Movement, Angel Adelaja, and her husband, Adedayo Oyeyemi, who is the chairman of the APC Elder Caucus.

Oyeyemi's campaign aims to address the needs of the demographic and foster unity and progress within the constituency. She called for support from the four local government areas in the federal constituency and highlighted her track record of grassroots connection and proven capacity.
