Ogun Commissioner Motunrayo Adeley Seeks Reps Seat 2027

Motunrayo Adeley, the Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, announced her intention to run for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections. The declaration was made on Thursday in Ajuwon, Akut Ward 6, Ifo Local Government Area.

Adeley, a former two-term member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, stated that she would begin consultations with party executives and stakeholders to connect with grassroots constituents. She emphasized the need for effective representation and inclusive development, acknowledging the complex dynamics of the constituency.

Adeley plans to focus on economic empowerment, job creation, and support for small and medium-scale enterprises. She also pledged to promote vocational training, attract investment, and boost local industries while maintaining open communication with constituents.

Additionally, she expressed gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun for his support in her cabinet role.
