Ogun APC Endorses Funmi Efuwape for 2027 Reps Seat

Stakeholders of the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously endorsed Funmi Efuwape, a former commissioner for women affairs and social development, as their consensus candidate for the 2027 House of Representatives seat representing the Remo Federal Constituency. This endorsement occurred during a meeting of the Remo Federal Constituency Caucus held in Ikenne on Monday.

Princ Adedoyin Adeleke, the chairman of the Ogun East Senatorial District, emphasized the party's commitment to ensuring equity and a fair election process devoid of rancor. The endorsement reflects the party's resolve to prioritize collective interests over individual ambitions, aiming for a united front to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

Ola Oresanya remarked on Efuwape's track record of loyalty and dedication to the party, while Dare Odufowokan, a senior special assistant to the governor, noted the importance of democratic processes within the party.
