APC Youth Group in Cross River Backs Tinubu and Otu for 2027

The Evidence Group, a youth-led support movement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River, called for support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This appeal was made on Monday during the grand finale of their statewide local government tour in Calabar South Local Government area.

Edem Bassey, the initiator of the group, urged young people to actively participate in the electoral process and take responsibility for the state's political future. Hon. Effiong Ekarika, representing Calabar South Constituency I in the Cross River House of Assembly, encouraged residents to support Otu’s administration for another term, highlighting the governor's commitment to inclusive governance and infrastructure development.

Mary Patrick, the Calabar South Coordinator of the group, reaffirmed their commitment to the Back to South political agenda, urging supporters to mobilize and vote for APC candidates. State Commissioner for Information, Ekpenyong Cobham, also urged support for Otu, cautioning against opposition candidates.
