Daura Citizens Disown APC's Endorsement of Tinubu and Radda

In a recent development, the Daura Concerned Citizens have disowned the endorsement of Bola Tinubu and Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda by the APC in a local government meeting. The citizens expressed that the endorsement was misleading and did not reflect the true sentiments of the people of Daura.

The Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon Nasir Yahaya Daura, endorsed Tinubu and Radda for re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections. However, the citizens emphasized that the decision was not unanimous and did not involve all APC members present.

Muhammad Lawal Na Lado, speaking on behalf of the Concerned Citizens, highlighted that the endorsement was purely an internal affair of the APC and did not have the consent of the broader community. Lawal Musa Daura, a retired Director-General of the Department of State Services and former national chairman of the APC, dismissed the endorsement as baseless.
