Daura Citizens Disown APC's Endorsement of Tinubu and Katsina Governor

Daura Concerned Citizens have distanced themselves from the endorsement of Bola Tinubu and Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda by the APC during a local government meeting in Daura, Katsina State. The citizens expressed that the endorsement does not accurately reflect the aspirations of the people in Daura and was misleading.

The endorsement was reportedly led by the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura.

Muhammad Lawal Na Lado, speaking on behalf of the concerned citizens, emphasized that the endorsement was an internal affair of the APC and did not represent the unanimous decision of the people in Daura. Lawal Musa Daura, a retired Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) and former national chairman of the APC, dismissed the claims as baseless.

The citizens stressed that the endorsement was not a true reflection of the sentiments of the people in Daura, leading to protests and calls for clarification.
