Delta Central APC Endorses Tinubu and Oborevwori for 2027

On Sunday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Delta Central Senatorial District held a strategic meeting at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Conference Centre in Effurun, where party leaders and members unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone, and other party candidates for the 2027 general elections. The motion for endorsement was moved by Chief O’tega Emerhor and seconded by Hon Halims Agoda, receiving unanimous approval from the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka.

Arenyeka noted that the meeting was part of a broader strategy to strengthen the party across the three senatorial districts, following a review of party activities on June 11. He praised Governor Oborevwori for his efforts in fostering unity within the APC and welcomed new members from other political parties.

Chief Paulinus Akpeki highlighted the governor's leadership and the successful conduct of party congresses, which he said had strengthened internal democracy and positioned the APC for future electoral success.
