Obidient Movement Clarifies Peter Obi's ADC Affiliation for 2027 Election Bid

The Obidient Movement clarified rumors surrounding Peter Obi's political party affiliation ahead of the 2027 elections. Contrary to speculation, Obi is not uncertain about his party as he intends to contest on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

This decision follows his alignment with the ADC, part of an opposition coalition aiming to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Obi, along with other members like Atiku Abubakar, resigned from their former party to fully join the ADC.

The announcement was made by the ADC's national spokesperson, Bolaji Abdullahi, emphasizing Obi's focus on his political mission in Nigeria. The Obidient Movement's national coordinator, Yunusa Tanko, affirmed Obi's dedication to his political goals.
