Igbokwe Warns Opponents Against 2027 Presidential Bid

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), issued a warning on Tuesday via a Facebook post, advising prominent political figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi against wasting their time and resources in the pursuit of the 2027 presidential election. Igbokwe implied that current President Bola Tinubu has already won the upcoming election, rendering any contest against him futile.

He urged members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), and Labour Party to reconsider their ambitions for the presidency, emphasizing that their efforts would be a misallocation of their time, money, and energy.
