INEC Discloses 14 Associations Seeking Registration as Political Parties for 2027 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria has revealed that 14 out of 171 associations, including the Democratic Alliance (ADA), are in the process of becoming registered political parties for the 2027 elections. Sam Olumekun, the National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Committee, announced this development after a meeting in Abuja.
