APC Completes Upload of 471 Candidates for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has completed the upload of 471 candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal for the 2027 presidential and national assembly elections. This milestone was announced by the APC National Chairman, Prof.

Nentaw Yilwatda, in a statement issued on Sunday. The party submitted names for presidential, vice-presidential, senatorial, and House of Representatives candidates, successfully completing the nomination process.

The upload included 109 senatorial candidates and 360 House of Representatives candidates. Prof.

Yilwatda congratulated the party's leaders and members on this achievement, emphasizing the importance of mobilizing for a successful campaign ahead of the elections. He confirmed that Kashim Shettima will remain as the running mate to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the APC's presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
