2027 Election: Did Afenifere Endorse ADC Coalition? Yoruba Group Breaks Silence

Afenifere, a Yoruba group, has denied endorsing the African Democratic Party (ADC) coalition for the 2027 election. This comes after reports claimed the group visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo and endorsed the ADC platform.

Notable figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Morris Monye have joined the coalition. However, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has distanced himself from any political alliance with the opposition party, stating his loyalty to the ruling Progressives Congress (APC).

Additionally, there are rumors of discreet talks between the ADC and former President Goodluck Jonathan for a possible presidential run in 2027. Despite this, Mustapha has labeled these claims as fake news and urged Nigerians to disregard them.
