North Central Youths Back Tinubu for 2027 Elections

On February 14, 2023, the North Central Youth Support Group publicly declared their support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to mobilize no fewer than five million votes across the region. The announcement was made during the inauguration of their national and state executives in Abuja, which attracted various youth leaders and political stakeholders from six federal capital territories.

Abdullahi Muham Jamil, the Director General of the organization, emphasized grassroots mobilization and the need for voter registration. The group described Tinubu as the best option for the time and urged state coordinators and women leaders to activate structures at local government and ward levels.

The chairman of the board of trustees, Hassan Omal Atayoma, appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the current administration's economic policies, arguing that President Tinubu's reforms would yield long-term benefits. The group also highlighted the importance of building strong ward-level structures across the seven states in the region to ensure electoral success.
