North Central Youths Launch Voter Mobilization for 2027

On Saturday, a voter mobilization drive was inaugurated by North Central Youths in Abuja, focusing on enhancing voter registration and participation for the 2027 general elections. The initiative, led by Comrad Abdullahi Muham, aims to engage communities across 1,432 wards in the North Central region and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to ensure full participation.

The forum plans to mobilize citizens to obtain voter cards and actively participate in the elections. Key figures, including Hassan Omal Atayoma, chairman of the forum's board of trustees, and Ngbede Odoh, the national youth ambassador, emphasized the importance of improving voter turnout, as previous registration rates were lower than expected.

Umar Tanko Yankasi, the national director of the forum, highlighted the region's resource richness, using Kogi State as an example. The initiative aims to facilitate voter registration awareness campaigns and engage women leaders to enhance local participation.
