Northern Nigerian Youths Raise N200m for Tinubu's 2027 Presidential Bid

The Northern Nigeria Youth Leader Forum announced raising N200 million to purchase the presidential nomination form for Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. The forum, during a high-level meeting in Abuja, endorsed Tinubu, emphasizing the need for policy continuity and reform for long-term national development.

The fund was presented by the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai. The forum also launched the Renew Hope Ambassador initiative to advocate for youth inclusion in governance and leadership development.

Additionally, there was a call for peaceful youth mobilization and civic engagement across Northern Nigeria. Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, warned against dropping a Northern Muslim as Tinubu's running mate, citing potential backlash.

Former Speaker Yakubu Dogara dismissed suggestions of a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the APC in the 2027 elections.
