Northern Group Raises N200m for Tinubu's 2027 Presidential Bid

The Northern Nigeria Youth Leader Forum raised N200 million to buy a presidential nomination form for Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 general elections. The group endorsed Tinubu's candidacy at a meeting in Abuja, emphasizing the need for policy continuity and reform to drive long-term national development.

The Progress Congress, APC's National Working Committee, zonal leaders, state chairmen, and the party's Governor's Forum also adopted Tinubu as the party's presidential candidate for 2027. The forum pledged to promote peace, responsible political conduct, and youth inclusion in governance.

Nuhu Ribadu, a grand patron, supported Tinubu's candidacy, emphasizing unity and power rotation between North and South. The group aims to mobilize youth across Northern Nigeria to support Tinubu's bid, focusing on security, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
