2027 Election: “Why Peter Obi is Better Than Jonathan”, Analyst Explains

Political analyst Donald Okwuosa has urged former President Goodluck Jonathan to retire from partisan politics, citing his previous weak leadership during his presidency. Instead, Okwuosa has endorsed 2023 LP presidential candidate Peter Obi as a better option for the 2027 election, praising Obi's clean record, competence, and intellectual soundness. Okwuosa's endorsement comes amidst rumors of Jonathan considering running in the 2027 election.

However, allegations by African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu suggest that there may be ulterior motives behind Jonathan's potential candidacy. Despite this, the PDP national financial secretary has hinted at granting Jonathan an automatic ticket if certain conditions are met.

Overall, Okwuosa believes that Obi is the preferred candidate for the 2027 Presidential election, emphasizing his suitability for the role.
