Sowore Launches ‘SoworeNow’ App for 2027 Elections

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), has launched the ‘SoworeNow’ mobile application as part of efforts to mobilize supporters and volunteers for the upcoming 2027 general elections in Nigeria. The app, currently in version 1.0.1, is designed to create a digital platform for political mobilization, volunteer coordination, fundraising, and direct engagement with supporters.

It allows users to register, receive campaign updates, manage volunteer activities, and make donations. Key features include a user profile dashboard, a point reward system for volunteers, and a digital wallet for fundraising.

The app also includes a notification system for real-time alerts about campaign activities and events. Built using a modern React Native framework, the SoworeNow app aims to strengthen grassroots political organization and engage younger voters who rely heavily on smartphones and social media for political information.

This launch reflects a growing trend among Nigerian politicians to adopt technology-driven strategies in their campaigns.
