ADC's Adegoke to Tackle Poverty, Insecurity in Oyo

Olooye Adegboyega Adegoke, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, stated on Monday that his party will prioritize fighting poverty and insecurity in the state. During the inauguration of the ADC campaign council and team of advisers in Ibadan, Adegoke emphasized that his campaign would be issue-driven, focusing on grassroots engagement and practical solutions to the state's challenges.

He confirmed that the election is set for February 6, 2027, and highlighted the importance of thorough preparation for the upcoming electioneering campaign. Adegoke expressed confidence in winning the election, stating that the campaign would avoid personal attacks and instead focus on presenting programs and listening to the people's concerns.

He committed to communicating the party's agenda in simple language to ensure community participation in determining local priorities.
