City Boy Movement Engages Emir for Grassroots Support

On a mission to enhance grassroots mobilization in North West Nigeria, Mal. Yusuf Idris Gidado, the Zonal Coordinator of Contact and Mobilisation for the City Boy Movement, led a delegation to the palace of the Emir of Zazzau, Amb.

Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, in Zaria, Kaduna State. This visit aimed to strengthen collaboration with traditional institutions, which are vital for promoting unity, stability, and sustainable development.

Gidado reaffirmed the movement's commitment to expanding outreach and building partnerships with stakeholders in the region. The delegation recognized the importance of traditional rulers in preserving cultural heritage and fostering social cohesion.

They sought the Emir's royal blessings and counsel to aid their ongoing engagement and mobilization efforts. The City Boy Movement emphasized that effective grassroots mobilization requires cooperation between youth-led initiatives and established community institutions, highlighting the potential benefits of such collaborations in bridging national initiatives with local community needs.
