Kabir Endorses Tinubu, Urges Obi to Collaborate for Unity

Shitu Moh Kabir, a former presidential candidate and pioneer chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office. In a statement made on Friday, Kabir expressed confidence that Tinubu would secure victory in the 2027 presidential elections, arguing that supporting Tinubu is essential for sustaining ongoing reforms, strengthening infrastructure development, and improving national security.

Kabir advised Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, to work with Tinubu for the interest of national unity and to collaborate among political leaders for the country’s progress. He urged political actors to embrace dialogue and cooperation as Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections, emphasizing the need for stability to consolidate ongoing development efforts and address the nation's security and economic challenges.
