Osoba Supports Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Election

Chief Olusegun Osoba, the former governor of Ogun State, called on Nigerians to vote for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the need for continuity in the positive initiatives Tinubu has started. This appeal was made during a centenary lecture for Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of Afenifere, held in Lagos on Friday.

Osoba expressed joy at Fasoranti's longevity and noted that Tinubu is committed to implementing the legacy of Obafemi Awolowo, including the vision of an egalitarian society. He highlighted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is an offshoot of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), which produced Tinubu as the governor of Lagos State.

Osoba praised Tinubu for providing substantial allocations to state governors, facilitating better payment of workers' salaries, and urged governors to undertake impactful projects for citizens. He reaffirmed the belief in Afenifere's philosophy and Tinubu's role as a progressive leader.
