APC: ADC's Ballot Exclusion Won't Threaten Democracy

The All Progressives Congress (APC) responded to claims by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) regarding the potential exclusion from the ballot in the upcoming elections, asserting that "Heaven will not fall" if ADC is not included. APC emphasized that democracy thrives on political pluralism within clearly defined laws and procedures, and that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) must adhere strictly to electoral guidelines.

The party pointed out that ADC's current situation is not unprecedented, recalling a similar setback faced by APC in Zamfara State during the 2019 general elections, where the Supreme Court nullified its victory due to invalid primaries. APC criticized ADC for failing to address its internal challenges and described its issues as self-inflicted, highlighting a lack of organizational discipline within ADC.

APC urged all political parties to focus on resolving their internal issues and complying with electoral regulations to maintain public trust in Nigeria's democratic system.
