Dele Momodu Urges ADC Unity to Challenge APC in 2027

Dele Momodu, a prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made a call on Wednesday during an appearance on Arise Television's morning show for party members to come together to form a formidable opposition against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Momodu advised that the ADC should not attempt to contest the elections in isolation, stressing the importance of strategic collaboration among candidates.

He reflected on his previous attempts to contest elections in 2011 and 2023, indicating that the political landscape is challenging and requires serious commitment. Momodu emphasized that the ADC must decisively determine its ticket strategy, rather than allowing it to be dictated by any single individual, reinforcing the notion that collective action is essential for success against the APC.
