NDC Confident of Victory in 2027 Kaduna Elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kaduna State has declared its optimism about winning the 2027 elections, attributing the current administration's failures to rising insecurity, poverty, and an increasing number of out-of-school children. Aminu Idris, Chairman of Kaduna Central NDC, stated that the hardships faced by Nigerians have diminished the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s chances of retaining power.

This declaration was made during the announcement of Yunus Muhammad Salisu as the NDC candidate for a Kaduna State House of Assembly seat and the inauguration of his campaign council. Comrade Bitrus Yahaya, Chairman of Chikun Local Government Area (NDC), noted the significant turnout at the event, indicating growing support for Salisu.

Salisu emphasized that his candidacy is driven by youth, who are eager to take on leadership roles. He urged voters to prioritize integrity and competence over party affiliation.

The NDC leaders expressed confidence that the party would build on grassroots support leading into the elections.
