NDC Candidate Urges Kaduna Voters to Prioritize Competence

Barrister Mohammad Sani Abbas, the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general elections in Kaduna State, has called on residents to prioritize competence, credibility, and integrity when selecting their next governor. Speaking to journalists in Kaduna, Abbas emphasized the need for voters to critically evaluate the state's development trajectory and choose a leader capable of addressing pressing issues such as security, infrastructure, and socio-economic challenges.

He expressed concern over the deteriorating state of infrastructure and rising insecurity, which he attributed to ineffective leadership. Abbas urged the people of Kaduna to reflect on their current conditions compared to previous years and to demand accountability from their leaders.

He criticized the ruling party for the challenges facing Nigerians and encouraged voters to support candidates with proven records and credible programs.
