Oyo APC Confirms Unchanged Candidates for 2027 Elections

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that its list of candidates for the upcoming 2027 elections remains unchanged. Olawal Sadar, representing the party, emphasized that the list submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is final and that any claims of changes are misleading and intended to create confusion within the party.

The candidates include Yunu Akintunde and Aderemi Oseni for the Oyo Central and Oyo South senatorial districts, respectively, along with other nominees for various House of Representatives positions. The party highlighted that the nomination process concluded in May, and it is crucial for individuals to respect the established candidacy and refrain from any attempts to claim illegitimate candidacies, warning of potential consequences for such actions.
