APC Confirms No Changes to Oyo NASS Candidates List

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that the list of candidates for the National Assembly from Oyo State remains unchanged as preparations continue for the 2027 general elections. Olawal Sadar, a party spokesperson, described reports suggesting changes to the candidate list as misleading and a false claim aimed at creating disunity within the party.

The APC has uploaded the names of its candidates for three senatorial districts and 14 House of Representatives seats to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, in compliance with legal requirements. The candidates include Yunu Akintunde, Aderemi Oseni, and Hannah Ogunesan for the senatorial districts, and Akeem Adeyemi, Segun Odebunmi, and others for the House of Representatives.

The party emphasized that the nomination window for candidates has closed and warned individuals against attempting to present themselves as APC candidates, stating that such actions would lead to consequences.
