ADC Chairman Nwosu: 2027 Elections Require Party's Ballot

Ralph Nwosu, the chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted that the 2027 general elections cannot be conducted without the ADC on the ballot. Speaking at the party's youth summit in Abuja, Nwosu criticized the current political culture in Nigeria and highlighted the ADC's growing support, claiming the party has already gathered five million members.

He emphasized the need for a coalition to unseat President Bola Tinubu and stated that the ADC is prepared to contribute significantly to the electoral process. Nwosu also addressed the importance of youth involvement in politics, urging the ADC to fully implement its constitution, which reserves governorship tickets for youth.

Balarab Rufai, the ADC's youth leader, reinforced the commitment to youth representation and the establishment of structures to support young candidates. The ADC aims to ensure compliance with electoral mandates and strengthen its position ahead of the elections.
