Ex-IGP Mohammed Adamu Submits APC Nomination for Guber Race

On Friday, Mohammed Adamu, the former Inspector General of Police, formally submitted his nomination form to express his interest in the governorship of Nasarawa State. This submission took place at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja, where he was accompanied by a large number of supporters.

Adamu's candidacy is notable as he will contest for the APC governorship ticket in a direct primary against Senator Aliyu Wadada, who is backed by the current governor, Abdullahi Sule. Adamu had previously presented his nomination form alongside former governor Tanko Al-Makura, indicating a competitive race within the party for the governorship position in Nasarawa State.
