Prof. Haruna Unveils Development Agenda for Nasarawa 2027

On Tuesday, Prof. Mohammad Sani Haruna, the former Chief Executive of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), formally unveiled his development agenda for Nasarawa State as he prepares for the 2027 governorship race.

Speaking at a symposium organized to honor political associates in Keffi, Haruna outlined a roadmap focused on peace, industrialization, and the continuous development of the state’s economy. He emphasized that his political aspirations are driven by a commitment to public service rather than personal ambition, stating that he seeks to serve the people and aims for a Nobel Prize in service.

Haruna identified peace and unity as the foundation for sustainable development, noting that without peace, progress is unattainable. He pledged to sustain ongoing infrastructure projects initiated by Governor Abdullahi Sule, expand industrial capacity, create jobs, and empower youth through skill development and scientific innovation.

Haruna stressed the importance of data-driven assessments for development rather than assumptions.
