Nasarawa Aspirant Promises Education Emergency Declaration

Hassan Liman San, a gubernatorial aspirant for Nasarawa State in the 2027 elections, announced his intention to declare a state of emergency in education if he is elected. This commitment was made during an interface with local government campaign coordinators across the 13 local government areas of Nasarawa State on Tuesday.

Liman criticized the current state of primary schools, describing their conditions as unacceptable despite efforts by the current governor, Abdullahi Sule, to improve educational standards. He emphasized the need for comprehensive renovations of dilapidated school buildings and the provision of essential learning materials to create a safe and child-friendly environment.

Liman's vision includes addressing pressing issues in education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, agriculture, and job creation, aiming for substantial and rapid changes in the socio-economic landscape of Nasarawa State. He appealed for support from APC members and urged them to conduct themselves maturely and respect the law throughout the electoral process.
