Haruna Pledges Education and Agriculture Focus for Nasarawa

Prof. Mohammad Sani Haruna, the former Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the Nigerian National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), has pledged to prioritize education, agriculture, infrastructure, and health if elected as the governor of Nasarawa State in 2027.

Haruna, an aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC), made this commitment during a meeting with local coordinators in the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area. He emphasized the importance of deploying technology in public service and developing plans to enhance the state's capacity.

His agenda includes promoting peace and unity as foundational elements for sustainable societal development. Haruna also stressed the need to empower youth and women in the state, ensuring they have opportunities.

He expressed gratitude for the support received and urged mobilization ahead of the APC primaries, with Hon. Suleiman Angbashim coordinating efforts in the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area to ensure success in the upcoming elections.
